In Everquest, there is one set of "common" furniture that just has five different colour schemes, 2 stone and 3 wood.
- Stone Carved items have a white marble with light grey accents.
- Stone Chiseled is a darker bluish stone with darker grey accents.
- Wood Carved is dark walnut.
- Wood Crafted is yellow cedar with redwood.
- Wood Hewn is reddish mahogany. The red of Hewn is darker than Crafted.
In each of the colour schemes, most of the items are in-game vendor purchased with the rest player-made. The furniture vendors are in the housing neighbourhoods. Jewelers can make 20 stone items. Fletchers can make 20 wood items. The components are sold by a vendor in the housing neighbourhood and Plane of Knowledge. The recipes for each are on EQtraders.
All of these items have solid bases so they can be flipped in any direction to be fully usable. They can also be resized while placing.
In the picture at the top of the page, a Deluxe podium is place on the right with a Small on the left without any resizing.
