Rough gruff and good enough. Or something like that. This is the nascent combat training area for my guild (still in the designing and decorating phase so be kind).
Dummies can only be placed in guildhalls and can be useful for refining your fighting skills. They won't give you skill ups for melee related skills ('cause then you could just auto-attack and afk), but will help for setting up macros, comparing weapons, etc. You can, however, get spell skill-ups, because the skill check is on the casting. The dummies will reposte, so having the Guild Regeneration Pool (as seen behind Taza) set up in the area with the dummies will help avoid some nasty accidents.
The base level and difficulty of each dummy are associated with a type of NPC from a particular expansion.
Additionally, you can adjust the dummy a bit to vary their AC, resistances, level by a small amount, etc. Right-click on the placed dummy and select the adjustments from the menu.
Chang bodytype, sadly, does not change the appearance of the dummy. It changes how the dummy reacts to attacks. Statistics will display the current settings of the dummy, re. level, bodytype, AC, etc. Inspect will bring up the description/lore window. Once the dummy is placed, that's the only way to see the creature simulation information relating to expansion.
Guild Regeneration Pool
The Guild Regeneration Pool is 1.049p from the guildhall vendor in Sunrise Hills. It normally places flat on the ground, but you can use the "free placement" mode to put it on a wall (like a Stargate!). The back is solid.
Weapons and Shields as house items
Nearly anything that can be equipped in one of the weapon slots (Primary, Secondary, and Range) can be placed in a house or hall. If the item has an appearance ornament, the appearance granted by the ornament is displayed. Most can be sized up.
Tip: Items with a lantern or totem appearance have the 'place point' on the side instead of the back (where it would be logical for a totem) or bottom (where it would be logical for a lantern). Since 'free placement' doesn't help to position them, for those items, you need to have something to put it against in the right spot and orientation that you can remove after it's been placed where and how you want.
